Biography
Born and raised in Mexico, I started training in gymnastics alongside my sister, at the age of 7. I knew from a very young age that I always wanted to be involved in fitness and become a mentor to others.
When I arrived to the U.S., I enrolled into a commercial gym. That didn’t last for long because all I knew was how to do cardio and legs. Time went by and I remembered one day looking in to the mirror and didn’t like what I saw. I remembered feeling depress and unhappy. I wanted that energy, that drive I once had as a young girl. One day, I turned to Coach Jay and ask for his help. The first session was HORRIBLE but I kept pushing forwards and never looked back.
Before I knew it, that drive was slowly kicking in and I became inspired to help others. Now, together with Coach Jay, we now mentor others to find that spark and strength, within them. It’s been a little over 3 years and each time that we help someone accomplish a change their life, whether it’s losing weight, help them get off medication or both, it adds meaning and satisfaction to my own life.
I believe that fitness is not just about looks, but about how one could have a better quality of life.
I choose to live by this motto; Everything worthwhile has obstacles, but the biggest obstacle is yourself.
